Hertha Berlin vs Fortuna Dusseldorf Match Preview

GERMANY-BUNDESLIGA I - RELEGATION/PROMOTION (PLAY OFF) -- Hertha Berlin vs Fortuna Dusseldorf 5/11 2:30 AM GMT+8

Hertha Germany coordinator Fortuna Düsseldorf in the first play-off to the Bundesliga on Friday night. Both factors are anything else than in excellent type. Hertha could win only three game titles this year, but even Düsseldorf as 3rd of the 2. Bundesliga could win just two of the last nine suits.

The whole season 2012 Hertha Germany conducted vulnerable and troubled, especially at house, where they could just win four game titles all period. On Weekend they shown at least battling soul and created it to the play-off with a house win over Hoffenheim. But even though Hertha conducted very badly lately, there is quite some prospective in the group. Marketed last period, they began very effective into Bundesliga (e.g. won 2:1 in Dortmund) and was on the Eleventh position at the end of 2011. If they can discover returning anywhere near that type, they should be able to remain up. Striker Lasogga will forget the go with due to an damage.

Somehow Fortuna Düsseldorf have created it to the play-off. In the first 50 percent of the period they seemed to be the most powerful group in the 2. Bundesliga, but therefore dissatisfied, won just four suits this season. With Duisburg they had to defeat a group that had nothing to perform for on Weekend. But even though they were up 2:1 at house and Duisburg got a red greeting cards, they completed just 2:2. So only because Paderborn missing in St. Pauli as well, they created it to the play-off. Düsseldorf are a powerful house part, but are not very effective away from house (5-9-3), won just once away this season.

Bayern Munich Beats Real Madrid in a Penalty Shoot

From first league, Real trailed by a goal then Cristiano Ronaldo strikes -- the first, a penalty and next is a neat low finish which put them in control.

With a spot kick done by Arjen Robben, he leveled the tie for Bayern. No further goals meant a shoot-out, which Bastian Schweinsteiger settled to send his team to the final goal.

While Mario Gomez and David Alaba scored for Bayern, the goalkeeper Manuel Neuer played a major part saving real's first two penalties, from Kaka and Ronaldo.

This was the second time in major Champions League shoot-outs ronaldo had missed from the spot. If you remember he also failed for Manchester United in the 2008 final against Chelsea.

So let's follow the game of Real Madrid and see if they will beats Sevilla FC.

Nurnberg Vs Bayern Munchen football match preview

Nurnberg coach Dieter Hecking is plotting a surprise in the Bavarian derby on Saturday as his side look for their first win in Munich since 1992. Hecking's side have picked up just three points from their last five games, but that does not mean they make the short trip south without any hope at all.

Bayern captain Philipp Lahm is worried the importance of the fixture may be lost on some of his team mates. Bayern remain three points clear at the top despite suffering a 2-1 defeat at Hannover last weekend. Franck Ribery, Mario Gomez, Manuel Neuer and Bastian Schweinsteiger were also afforded a break by coach Jupp Heynckes, but they should all return by Saturday.

Borussia Dortmund Vs VfB Stuttgart football liga match preview

Dortmund have not lost in the Bundesliga for 21 games. Their last defeat was on September 18, 2011. The title holders have attracted a club record 80,460 average attendance at home games this season. The figure is 99.7 per cent of the full capacity of the Westfalenstadion. In 10 appearances since the winter break, Shinji Kagawa has scored eight goals and made four assists.

Stuttgart have won four of their last five games, conceding just twice in the process. After a strong start to the season, VfB sunk to 11th place before finding their form again. They now are seventh, one point away from fifth spot. Vedad Ibisevic has found the net four times for the Swabians since his mid-season signing from Hoffenheim. Only Martin Harnik, Shinji Okazaki and Cacau have scored more for VfB.

Lizarazu: Bayern's attack is 'incredibly dangerous'

The ex-FCB defender has warned Marseille against the Bavarian giants' attacking potency, and insists Didier Deschamps' men can't afford to just sit back and defend

G_people_lizarazu-v2.jpg (410×410)

Former France international Bixente Lizarazu has hailed Bayern Munich star Mario Gomez as one of the best strikers in Europe, and also praised the Bavarians' attack ahead of Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final first-leg match against Olympique de Marseille.

Lizarazu, who wore the Bayern colours from 1997 until 2004 before leaving for Marseille, only to return to FCB again one year later, believes that the OM defenders will have to be at their very best to contain Jupp Heynckes' side.

"Bayern's attack led by Mario Gomez, one of Europe's best strikers, is incredibly dangerous. Franck Ribery is in top form and sets up lots of goals. And then you have [Arjen] Robben and [Thomas] Muller as well," Lizarazu stated to the official Bayern website. "Marseille will have to be just as alert as they were against Inter [in the round of 16], especially at the back. And they'll have to do more attacking than they did against Inter.

L'OM have lost seven of their last eight games in all competitions, but during this stretch were nonetheless able to advance to take on Bayern. And Lizarazu believes that the French side can again defy their overall form on the grand stage. "Marseille will show a different side of their character in the Champions League compared to Ligue 1, as we saw against Inter." Wednesday's match at the Stade Velodrome kicks off at 20.45CET.

Mario Gotze extends Dortmund contract until 2016

The 19-year-old Germany international has committed his future to the Bundesliga title holders, having agreed to lengthen his current deal by two years

Dortmund_Gotze.jpg (285×185)

Borussia Dortmund starlet Mario Gotze has extended his stay at the Westfalenstadion, the German champions have revealed. BVB announced on their official website that the 19-year-old had signed a two-year contract extension that will see him stay at his hometown club until 2016.

"Everyone knows how comfortable I feel in Dortmund," Gotze said. The club are far from finished with their recent resurgence, he said, "And I want to be part of this development." Sporting director Michael Zorc was thrilled to announce the new deal for Gotze, who has in recent months attracted the interest of Arsenal and Manchester United, with BVB having turned down an offer in excess of €30 million from the Gunners last summer. "We are very happy that we will take the next step with Mario in the future," Zorc said. Gotze first joined Dortmund at the age of nine. He earned his first appearance with the club's first team at the age of 17, and within a year earned his first senior international cap for Germany. - http://www.goal.com

FC Koln Vs Borussia Dortmund match preview

Koln have won just once against Dortmund in 15 attempts since the turn of the millennium. The Billy Goats have the least number of shots on target from all 18 Bundesliga sides this season. Moreover, Koln have accumulated more bookings than any other team in the German top flight - 54 yellow cards and five red cards.

Dortmund are on a 10-away-game unbeaten streak, and could break the club record set under Ottmar Hitzfeld in season 1995/1996 with a positive result on Sunday. Since Jurgen Klopp took over the team, BVB have won all of their games against Koln. Marcel Schmelzer scored his first ever Bundesliga goal against the Billy Goats in a 5-0 demolition of Solbbaken's team in the first part of the season.

Greuther Furth Vs Borussia Dortmund match preview

Greuther Furth have won six of their last seven games in all competitions. A league draw with Ingolstadt blemishes a near-perfect record. Olivier Occean is enjoying a great scoring patch for the Cloverleaves. He has bagged six goals in his last seven outings. The hosts have already eliminated two Bundesliga outfits on their way to the semi-final. Nurnberg and Hoffenheim both fell at their hand in the previous two rounds.

Borussia Dortmund come into the game on the back of setting a new unbeaten record for the club. It is now 20 league games since BVB last tasted defeat in the Bundesliga. Jurgen Klopp's men were taken all the way to penalties by second-tier outfit Fortuna Dusseldorf in the third round. They scraped through, winning the shootout 5-4. Dortmund last lifted the trophy 23 years ago in the 1988/89 season. The closest they have come since was in 2007/08 when they ended as runners-up to Bayern Munich.

Energie Cottbus Vs Fortuna Dusseldorf match preview

Just a single match could Energie Cottbus win since Rudi Bommer has become their new coach at the beginning of the year. Also Bommer wasn't able yet to motivate this often inactive and insecure team. At least the relegation positions are still seven points away. The defense made progress under Bommer, but up front only 24 goals were scored in 25 matches. Dimitar Rangelov is the only real striker available at the moment. Apart of Eintracht Frankfurt (3:3) Cottbus lost all matches at home against top teams (1860 Munich 0:5, St. Pauli 1:4, Gr. Fürth 0:2, Paderborn 0:2).

After a miserable start to the new year Fortuna Düsseldorf have won the last two matches with 8:1 goals and still have decent chances to promote. But on Monday three important players will have to be replaced. Striker Rösler (12 goals), midfielder Bodzek and full-back Langeneke are all suspended. There is wide quality in the squad, but the 'new ' team may need some time to find. Fortuna lost just two matches all season, drew seven times away from home (5-7-1).

Hannover 96 vs FC Koln football liga match update

Hannover are, together with Borussia Mönchengladbach, the only team in the Bundesliga who haven’t lost a match at home yet. Ignoring the (always injured) Leon Andreasen, they’ll try to keep that streak alive with more or less the entire squad available. Only striker Mame Diouf is doubtful with a ligament injury, it’s not sure yet whether he’ll be fit enough to play.

For Köln, the last week was a crazy one (as usual). The so-called 6-point match against Hertha was won 1-0, causing coach Stale Solbakken to show us a crazy, emotional celebration (Volker Finke being gone didn’t exactly make him sad, either). But while the match was won, Lukas Podolski was lost. A red card that most people, me included, think wasn’t one slightly dampened the mood.

St. Pauli vs Karlsruher SC match preview

If we look at both teams we see a huge difference concerning quality of players, tactics and skills and so we see St. Pauli with good chances to fight for promotion places whereas Karlsruhe will find it very hard to avoid relegation.

St Pauli has a good record at home 8-2-2 and in the last 5 home matches they won 3 times and draw 2 times. Karlsruhe's record in transfer is horrible; 1-2-9 and in the last 10 games they draw only 2 times; 6 matches from 8 were lost at AH -1.50 and against a stronger team as St Pauli, a true candidate for direct promotion in Bundesliga they simply have no change.

TSV 1860 Munchen Vs St. Pauli match preview

GERMANY BUNDESLIGA 2: 12BET odds TSV 1860 Munchen Vs St. Pauli 3/6 3:15AM GMT+8

TSV 1860 Munich are currently on fire in Bundesliga 2 having won 7 and drawn one of their previous eight league games. Their blistering form has propelled them into contention for promotion, as they now sit 8 points off the second automatic place but with 2 games in hand.

St Pauli have won just one of their last four away games however, losing twice at mid-table teams, and they dropped crucial points in a 0-0 home draw last time out. St.Pauli course, not even a little naive team. Coach Schubert has plenty of problems in the composition of the impactor eleven, currently has a healthy nor a single attacker. This means it will probably continuous series of reviews is very flexible and will adapt to the game, tons kareri will certainly give the home players.
